The home I am selling has been under contract since mid August. We were supposed to close last week. Everything was on track until the day before closing. I was notified there was a problem with one of the documents from the buyers lender.
My agent initially told me the lender needs a few days to verify the documents. She has tried to get more information on a potential timeline, but the lender and buyers agent have basically ghosted her. There is no closing date as of now. And if that wasn’t stressful enough, the purchase of my new home is contingent on my current home selling.
Anyway, is this normal, or should I be worried?
